| Domestic Violence Program- |
The Milford Counseling Domestic Violence Program has been established to provide services to individuals who have made abusive choices in their relationships which have resulted in acts of domestic violence. We screen for substance dependence and abuse issues that may further complicate the success of the intervention. We hope to address both issues where they arise simultaneously. The group sessions will include education in alcohol and drug use. Biweekly individual sessions will be offered to address the substance use issues for those who require it. The program has been established in
compliance with applicable state standards
set forth in the “Batterer Intervention Standards for the State of Michigan” created by The Governor’s Task Force on Batterer Intervention Standards June,1988. |
