Milford Counseling Inc. believes that all people should have access to adequate substance abuse and mental health
treatment no matter what their financial status. If someone is ready and willing to change their life and asks for help it
should be provided. We need your help to do so.
95% percent of our clients are underinsured or have no health care insurance. 85% percent of the clients we serve are
poor. The options available to some are limited and short term; they do not provide enough treatment, care, education
or therapy for a successful transformation. Most of these clients discover they have no options available when they
begin to seek help for treatment and therapy.
The H.E.L.P. Fund enables people who qualify access to exceptional substance abuse and mental health outpatient
treatment with Milford Counseling Inc. 100% of your donations received are used for treatment and therapy for eligible
clients. The clients who qualify for assistance receive H.E.L.P. Fund scholarships that offset their costs for treatment.
H.E.L.P. Fund scholarships are awarded to clients based on their income, number of dependants, and debt. Clients are
required to put significant effort into their treatment goals including regular attendance to receive help.
The Milford Counseling H.E.L.P. Fund is not a non-profit. The H.E.L.P. Fund donates 100% of your contributions
towards the treatment of individuals who are in need of Milford Counseling's mental health and substance abuse
