
Amanda Bolam LLMSW, CAADC-DP, Therapist
Amanda is a clinical therapist who works to provide authentic treatment for mental health and substance abuse populations. It is important to her in providing a safe and comfortable space to offer reliable and trustworthy therapeutic relationships. Amanda takes both a holistic and humanistic approach that integrates into her psychotherapy. Amanda strives to provide a non-judgmental environment that allows her client to work through a variety of life struggles. She believes in providing empowerment and psychoeducation that helps individuals work through trauma, addiction, co-dependency, boundaries and other mental health matters.
Amanda graduated from both Adrian College and Madonna University where she obtained a Bachelors and Masters in Social Work. She has a clinical concentration in mental health and has achieved an addiction studies certification. She is currently practicing under a limited licensure through the state of Michigan. Since joining Milford Counseling and has since begun practicing towards her Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC-DP), and facilitates a relapse prevention group.
