Brittany M M.S., TLLP, CADC-DP

I have a passion for helping people, who have been through a traumatic or stressful experience. I work with various individuals in order to facilitate behavioral change in order to improve the client's ability to establish and maintain long-lasting relationships. In addition, I teach effective coping skills that enhance a client's ability to cope with life stressors. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology at Eastern Michigan University, and am a proud member of the Psi Chi: National Honor Society in Psychology. While obtaining my Masters degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology I learned how behavior works, how behavior is affected by the environment, and developed a deep understanding of how behavior is applied in real situations to ensure that I set obtainable goals for my clients. I am currently working towards my CADC- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor as well as becoming a BCBA- Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Being a psychologist at Milford Counseling, I use the following therapy approaches that are the following Mindfulness-based therapy, Social Skills training, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and behavior tracking that can be applied amongst a diverse population of individuals.I am grateful for the opportunity to help clients work toward living a more fulfilling life, one that they can be proud of.
