My main goal in life is helping people, even when it is in the smallest aspect. What I like about Milford Counseling Inc. is we work with many different populations to help them overcome difficult situations they may be in. As each therapist has their own techniques, I provide a therapeutic setting that is nonjudgmental, empathetic, and open. I show understanding and use a client-centered approach and motivational interviewing to assist each client with conquering struggles they have. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in social work at Eastern Michigan University and obtained my master’s degree at Grand Canyon University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I currently have my limited license as a professional counselor (LLPC) and am working towards my CADC – Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I also am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
